Our Mission
Since 1999, Seattle’s rowing community has been a powerful force of support for local breast cancer patients navigating the battle of their lifetime.
The money we fundraise supports local education, free screenings, follow-up treatments, and spreading awareness in our region.
The staggering statistics:
- ~ 356,000 women will hear those four words this year: You. Have. Breast. Cancer.
- ~ 290,000 women will have their cancer found “Early” - localized without spreading to lymph nodes or non-invasive
- ~ 40,000 women will lose their battle
According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a Breast Cancer diagnosis occurs every 2 minutes!
